This "Time Clock Method" is
applicable to both, Existing Homes and New Home Construction.
Time Clocks work well in homes with persons
going to work and school at certain times each day, for the clock runs
24 hours each day, 7 days each week, with 14 different time sets per
day.
PROBLEM: In the event Hot Water is needed
prior to or after the clock has already run, a person would need to
go to the Water Heater and actually turn on the motor, or turn on the
Hot Water spigot and wait for the Hot Water to finally arrive while
dumping water down the drain.
ANOTHER PROBLEM: Normally, the clock
will stop if the electricity goes out, and come on again after the power
is back on. The time-clock is then delayed and the water will not be
hot at the right times, until you reset the clock. BUT,
you can install a WATER GUARDIAN Clock Backup
System to prevent this from happening. The clock will then run even
when the electricity goes out and not need resetting afterwards. See
this link for details.
