Water Guardian
Remote Control Method

Retired or semi-retired persons seem to choose the Remote Control Method quite often. There are no wires to run, no clocks to set and re-set, and the Re-Circulating Hot Water System does not run when they are away from home. Instead, the Remote Control runs the Water Pump Motor for the desired 2 or 3 minutes anytime of the night or day, just when Hot Water is needed, and shuts OFF Automatically.

The Remote Control Method is the simplest, most reliable method. It requires no maintenance and is very similar to a Motorized Garage Door opener which can be controlled "remotely" from quite a distance; Usually 100 or 200 ft. away. The actual distance is determined by the Receiver Sensitivity. This Remote Control System has been tried and proven, and is FCC approved. It is also insuseptible to such problems as objects in the way, such as doors, walls, mirrors and furniture.

The Remote Control Method requires a Receiver Unit and 2 or 3 of the Command Transmitters, which can be placed anywhere in the home. When the Remote Control is tripped the system begins to push the hot water throughout the home, then automatically shuts down when finished.

Sometimes, with other systems it would be possible to open or close a neighbor's Garage Door or turn on their Hot Water Re-Circulating System, but not with Koenick's Remote Control System.
